En un caso que la corte de California lleva en contra de varios sitios de torrents, el concurrido portal TorrentSpy ha recibido una orden judicial que le obliga a registrar las actividades y datos de sus usuarios y entregarlos a la MPAA para facilitar la persecución de los infractores de material con derechos de autor. En otras palabras: Si los sitios de torrents no pueden ser inculpados de piratería porque sólo proveen un nexo entre los infractores, lo menos que pueden hacer es ayudar a identificar a esos infractores.
Los abogados de la Electronic Frontier Foundation dijeron que esto no tiene precedentes, y están preparando una apelación que hay que presentar antes del 12 de Junio. Si esto falla, lo más probable es que TorrentSpy deje de aceptar visitas provenientes de USA antes que cumplir la orden.

Lo que más me gusta de Torrenspy es que puedes saber la calidad del torren con la opinión de los usuarios. Bajando algunas cosas por Isohunt he tenido algunos chascos.

De hecho, NO. _Escribes_ que te ries por un foro que seguramente nunca sabrán que existe. Lo más probable, es que te comportarías como el 99% de los humanos: si tuvieses la oportunidad de reirte en su cara, te chuparías y no lo harías.

We have succeeded in delaying the court order to turn on logs while we appeal it. TorrentSpy will not create logs of what you do on the site without your consent. While we use Google Analytics for website statistics, TorrentSpy servers have never tracked your IP Address, the searches you make, or how you use the site. We are dedicated to your privacy and we are fighting for your rights!
